CAREFULL.....With the Raccoon!!!!! (Short and fun)

Now you have to get to the end to have the fun, but I'll keep it clean.

So are animals smarter than us? Some people for sure. Can we learn about poker from them? Here are a few twisted thoughts........

Stuborn as a "mule"..... So why try to yell at him and muscle him? Get in the wrong spot and you get kicked where it hurts. Should be able to out smart him though.

Strong as a bear.......Attacking a huge stack (bear) with one pair is a lot like having a stick or a .22 at best. Both can work but he has some weapons of his own. Charging him won't do any good. Playing dead is end up "sticky and buried in the dirt". Convincing him you are strong and calm, sometimes and a big caliber (the nuts) is a better option. But if a bear corners a cat...........(shortstack) the cat is going out with fur flying. He might even get lucky and hit the right spot.

Ever see magpies steal from a dog........If they can get him mad, he goes after one, the other steals when he is distracted......get him mad enough you can take his lunch. The smart dog waits for the magpie to make a mistake and looks for spots. He gets a few bites in, they all go away.

I want to be a cuddlefish if I am to be a fish at all. It can change colors and shapes, confuse the others in the tank.

Hmmmmmmm.......... the big game game used to be played in the "BullPen", now its in the "Amazon Room". So about the man playing "poker" with the racoon.......The man really liked what he held pre-flop......It was even bigger "post flop". He thought he had this raccoon "by the hair". But the raccoon knew he had outs.....and when he saw his chance he took the guy "right down to the felt" !!!!! So if you want to "climb the mountain" you better be carefull with the racoon!! Yes, its sick and wrong. Need the punch line? GOOGLE.
Good times, good friends, good poker ..........(and a slow boring commute home..........)

Great analogy Jon. Poker definetly does reveal an individuals true nature right down to their animal instict.
