Yes, I think they do. But like everything else in this game, we can't make it an excuse. We have to break it down and beat it.
Lets look at personality. Are you logical and conservative? Are you wild and a risk taker? Does the job you do require it? Are you an enforcer or a follower? Do these habits follow you to the felt?
If you spend all day in codes and numbers, is it hard to adjust to random and borderless? Is quality not as important as quantity? How about the other way around?
What about your interests? Are you a full contact adrenaline junkie or a bookworm and book of puzzles player?
Do you get outside your comfort zones to advance or are you just happy to stay where you are?
Do you blame yourself or others?
Answer these questions. Look at your game. Are there patterns that hold you back or create holes.
To be great at poker, we have to break the mold.
"It depends, It depends, It depends!!!"
Hear that over and over again. Why we don't choose option B instead of A or vice versa will have alot to do with your answers.
But which is the better option????
Answer is....... it depends!
Thats what make the best the best. They can be either at the right times. They have broken the mold.
This is a great place to find the answers, they are easier to say than do. But break the mold here, your on your way to breaking it anywhere!
